What we collect, and what we do with it

The short version: the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the sign-up form. It is used to email you about The Sparrow's Way, and nothing else. It is never sold or rented.

What we collect

When you sign up for the email list, we store the first name you give (optional), your email address, the date you signed up, and a scrambled, one-way version of your internet (IP) address. The scrambled address cannot be turned back into your real one; it exists only to limit spam sign-ups.

If you email us, we keep that message in our mailbox so we can reply.

Why we collect it

To send you launch news, new articles, and occasional updates about The Sparrow's Way, including new offerings such as journals or other products. Nothing else.

Where it is stored

Sign-ups are saved in a private file on our web hosting with Hostinger, in a folder that cannot be reached from the web. Email is hosted by Hostinger as well. Both act as service providers on our behalf.

We never sell your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your name or email address. We share it with no one, except where the law requires it.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Email info@thesparrowsway.com at any time and ask to be removed, and we will delete your details from the list. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask for a correction.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, and there is no analytics or advertising tracking on it today. If that changes, this page will be updated first.

Fonts loaded from Google

Our pages use two typefaces served by Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser contacts Google's servers, which means your internet address is visible to Google as part of that request. No other information is shared, and we set no cookies for it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a fresh date above.
